WOW! For a limited time, you can have free access to the 1901 UK census INDEX. This index is an every person index of the entire 1901 UK census! It includes Wales, Isle of Man, and the Channel Island census, as well as the census for England.

AccessGenealogy is one of the largest providers of free genealogy databases online. Created in 1999 by Dennis Partridge and Judy White, it’s collection of free databases now surpasses 1.1 million names. The following update provides just a glimpse into the growing collection, and resulted in over 140,000 additional names being added to their databases and webpages in just one week!

AllCensusRecords.com has begun indexing the 1911 Canadian census. Start at the index to Ontario Census Records for 1911. The following indexes are now available for Perth County, Simcoe County, Victoria County and Wellington County. Indexes are being transcribed for Kent County, and more indexes for Simcoe and Wellington.

So many people are just learning about the FREE access to Ancestry.com Civil War databases that Ancestry has decided to keep the databases open for an additional weekend - free and open though June 12.
